Carter turned 11 on June 4 and wanted to celebrate his birthday in the same way as his brother. The day before his birthday, we picked up Carter and 5 of his friends from school (in the pouring rain) and headed to the clube for another afternoon of fun. There was soccer and murder mystery games in the gym, cheeseburger lunches, chilly swimming in the rain, and a DJ Marshmello cake. Everyone seemed to have a blast and these older kid birthday parties sure are a lot easier on mom ;)
Carter is our tender-hearted kiddo. He loves big and and feels a lot. It's such a blessing to see the friendships he has developed over the years and the dynamic between him and his friends. Carter loves reading, video games, and music, but also plays a little soccer and basketball. For his birthday he got a chip to use in one of Nick's old phones and he is loving being able to talk to his school friends on WhatsApp (and I am loving being able to get in touch with him when he's at school or a friend's house). Carter is a great big brother (most of the time, haha) and I look forward to watching him learn and grow even more over this next year.
Now for some party and bday pics!
