Yes, I know...I am super late in posting this! I did Leine Mae's birthday survey with her around her actually birthday (July 25th), but just haven't gotten around to posting about it...better late than never.
So here I am, writing about how my BABY, my little princess, is now SIX years old! She most definitely keeps us on our toes. She probably has the biggest personality of anyone in our house and can truly take us on an emotional rollercoaster ride (she can cue up the crocodile tears with the best of them). She also keeps us rolling with her hilarious antics and sayings, and is such a fun mixture of girly girl and tomboy. She is doing so well in Brazilian school, is learning to read and write in English at home, and is taking ballet lessons and playing soccer.
For her birthday party this year, she chose a panda theme (her favorite animal) and we decided to do a "make and take" party in our carport with the little girls from her class at school. We had different craft stations and each girl got to make four things to take home with them: a panda canvas, a panda cup, a panda hair bow, and a panda cupcake. It was a little chaotic, but everyone seemed to have lots of fun.

*we had our nails done at the salon for her first time for her birthday

We are so grateful that the sweet mother and daughter who have made our birthday cakes the past two years stayed and helped with some of the activity stations.
For all the kids' birthdays, I let them choose what they would like to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I told Leine Mae she could have anything she wanted and she chose...Ramen style noodles, hahaha
One of Leine Mae's birthday gifts was getting her ears pierced. We were able to have this sweet nurse come and do it while Leine Mae sat and watched a movie. Let's just say she wasn't a fan...haha
