Oliver is 5!

     It's birthday season again! Oliver kicked off our celebrations with a Hulk party in his class at school.  (Side note: I realize this blog has basically turned into a birthday blog for my kids....but I'm okay with that! I think it will be so much fun to come back over the years and read about their interests and see pictures from their parties.)

     I'm not quite sure where this Hulk (pronounced Hulk-ee by our litle Brazilian) fascination came from, but Oliver loves all things Hulk! Even his favorite color, green, is Hulk inspired.

     Oliver has grown leaps and bounds this year.  Physically, he's shot up and has more of a big kid physique than that cute little baby chub.  Verbally, he is speaking more and more in both languages.  Emotionally, he's really come out of his shell in public places.  He's still shy/timid when he first gets somewhere, but it doesn't take him nearly as long to feel comfortable in a new situation.  And he's become Mr. Social at school, which I love! He can't seem to leave class each day until he's given a hug to all of his little friends.
