On Wednesday, her actual birthday, we opened presents at home after school, the kids took quick naps, and then we headed to the movies to watch Incredibles 2, followed with a McDonald's supper. (Does it get any better than that for a 3 year old? haha). And the following day, we had a Moana themed celebration with her classmates at school.
Leine Mae cracks us up. While she enjoys dressing up in her brother's super hero costumes and playing with their dinosaurs, she is most definitely our little girl. She loves a good high heel, lipstick, and taking care of her baby dolls. She has become very opinionated as of late as to what she wears, how I fix her hair, etc., but being strong-willed is supposed to be a sign of future independence and success, right? haha. She honestly speaks just as much, if not more, Portuguese than English and we find it so funny to hear her bossing her brothers around in both languages. Her teachers tell us she's doing great at school and loves playing with all her little friends. She's definitely one of our most coordinated kids and has no trouble at all keeping up with her big brothers. Her hair is getting blonder, her skin has a tan that makes us all jealous, and we're truly blown away with her development!
