October is here and off to a great start! First of all, it's fall break at SWBTS which means no school this week! I'm sure my nerdy little self will still be working on plenty of assignments but it's nice not to have the added pressure of anything being due. Also, Nick gets to come home straight from work today instead of going to his night class until 9 - can we say family night? Wahoo!
Secondly, yesterday I decided to bite the bullet and create a website for the crafts I've been working on. People have been so kind and supportive when I wear one of my items, asking how they can order one themselves, so I figured I should hop on a way to make that happen :) The website probably took me way too long to do (especially being married to such a techie) and really isn't all that impressive, but hey...it's up. I'll add to it as I make more and hopefully make many improvements along the way but I would LOVE for you to check it out and let me know what you think!

I also made a business page on Facebook, SNAC Knacks, and would appreciate you 'liking' that page :) You rock!
Thirdly, today I am beginning my '15 by Christmas' weight loss goal. I feel a little funny posting about this but my hope is that I will feel some sort of accountability/obligation by making my goal public...I won't be making any drastic changes but am just going to try to exercise more frequently (even if for short spurts at a time), and eat a little better and a little less :) I've lost 30 pounds since having Carter but seem to have plateaued in the weight loss department. 10 more and I'll be back to my pre-baby weight (I know, I put on a TON), and 5 more after that and I think I'll feel pretty good :)
Speaking of, Carter will be 4 months old tomorrow! How is this possible?!? He is cute as a button and we have had SUCH a fabulous week. Very little fussing as we're both figuring out his routine. He's learning not to get so worked up when he's tired or hungry and we're learning how to calm him down quicker - hallelujah! Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself here...haha. He's doing great sleeping in his crib (he might wake up once or twice in the night but I just pop his paci in and he falls right back asleep). He's woken up crying a few times and when I get in the nursery I see he has rolled over on his stomach! (And we all know how much he hates tummy time...) So I wonder if he wakes up that way and gets freaked out. His 4 month appointment is Wednesday and I can't wait to see how much he's grown! (I'm sad he has to get more shots though...)
Oh, and to top everything off, the weather here is FABULOUS! Life is good and we are blessed!
