Two Months

We celebrated two months with our sweet little Oliver this past week.  While it's hard to believe he's been with us for nine weeks already, it also is hard to imagine our family before him.  He's had many adventures during his short life: two trips to Maceio (2 hours away), one to Recife (5.5 hours away), two to Aracaju (3 hours away), and one to the Dominican Republic (over 24 hours).  The little boy has been busy!  He continues to have a very sweet demeanor and is just starting to grin, which melts this mama's heart.  He is sleeping well at night, but definitely prefers to be held during the day.  It's hard to get much done around the house because of this, but it's also pretty hard to resist his cuddles.  After his two month shots, he ran a fever and was really fussy for two days, but seems to be doing much better now.  We have a doctor appointment this afternoon (no, you don't get your shots at the pediatrician, you go to a health clinic), and I'm excited to see his weight gain and growth!
